Spectacular building lot at the northern exit of the Alpine tunnel

4500 tons of reinforcing steel were laid across various installation sites for a trough structure, two tunnel portals, three bridges and the flood protection. This required the handling of high capacities in work preparation and production and the precise coordination of transport logistics with the construction site.

The Sillschlucht lies between Viller Berg and Bergisel in the south of Innsbruck. The exit of the Brenner base tunnel connects it here to the railroad lines of Innsbruck main station.

The picturesque location should not hide the fact that this was a complex construction lot with various installation sites and components.

It was not only the laying sections of BEST that had to prove their versatility and precision. In the background, the work preparation and production departments delivered the required items to the Sillschlucht with the help of the scheduling logistics.
