Effective coordination of large workforce capacities

For the construction project of the Zwettl bypass and the corresponding bridges, it was necessary to utilize large workforce capacities and produce and install high tonnages. BEST not only managed the coordination of multiple laying teams at different construction sites, but also met the high demands of material logistics.

From February 2015 to August 2016, several valleys were bridged in the Waldviertel region as part of the Zwettl bypass project. A 10.7 kilometer-long, partially triple-lane road section was constructed, which was ceremoniously opened on July 30, 2017.

The reinforcement was provided and installed by BEST in collaboration with several reliable laying teams. To ensure smooth construction, the laying supervisors of BEST in Haid and Vienna worked closely together to coordinate the high workforce capacities. Through a hand-selected selection of partner companies, an additional beneficial effect - a motivating team spirit - was achieved for the speed and quality in which the project was realized.
